Current and new full-season and partial season ticket holders with a 36-game or 18-game ticket plan are guaranteed the opportunity to purchase All-Star ticket packages for the 2010 Triple-A All-Star Week presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network, the IronPigs announced today.

2010 All-Star ticket packages, consisting of tickets to “Pigapalooza” All-Star Fan Fest (Saturday, July 10 at Coca-Cola Park), the Triple-A Home Run Derby (Monday, July 12) and the Triple-A All-Star Game (Wednesday, July 14), are available now to existing and new full-season ticket holders, 36-game holders and 18-game partial plan holders that renew or purchase season tickets and the All-Star Game package by October 9, 2009.  To renew or order season tickets for the 2010 IronPigs season presented by Capital BlueCross, call (610) 841-PIGS or visit Coca-Cola Park’s ticket office during normal business hours.

All-Star ticket packages are just $42 for Field Level ticket plan holders and $52 for Club Level ticket plan holders.  These prices offer a combined $13 discount off the individual tickets for “Pigapalooza” All-Star Fan Fest ($10), the Triple-A Home Run Derby ($25 Club/$20 Field) and the Triple-A All-Star Game ($30 Club/$25 Field).

IronPigs full-season (Club, Suite, Front Row & Field Level) ticket holders that purchase the All-Star ticket package will have the benefit of remaining in their same seats for both the Triple-A Home Run Derby and the Triple-A All-Star Game.  Existing 18- and 36-game ticket holders will be seated for these events based on seniority and length of ticketing agreement.  New season ticket and partial season ticket purchasers are guaranteed the ability to purchase the All-Star Game package, based on availability.

The Triple-A All-Star Game -- played annually since 1988 -- features the premier players of all 30 Major League team’s top affiliates as the International League and the Pacific Coast League All-Stars square off in a head-to-head contest.

The annual classic, which rotates annually between IL and PCL host cities, was played in Portland, Ore., on July 14, 2009.  This year’s game was a hotly-contested affair, with the IL holding on for a 6-5 victory in front of 16,637 at PGE Park. Recent Triple-A All-Star Games have also been played in Louisville (2008), Albuquerque (2007), Toledo (2006) and Sacramento (2005).  All 30 organizations that comprise Major League Baseball are annually represented with at least one player in the Triple-A All-Star Game.

Dozens of eventual Major League stars have played in the Triple-A All-Star Game including Chase Utley, Derek Jeter, Mike Lowell, Justin Morneau, Alfonso Soriano, Jim Thome, Chipper Jones and Kenny Lofton.

Complimenting the 2010 Triple-A All-Star Game presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network is the “Pigapalooza” All-Star Fan Fest at Coca-Cola Park on Saturday, July 10.  This unique family-oriented event will feature autograph sessions, inflatable games, baseball-themed attractions such as batting cages and speed pitch machines and much more!  The Triple-A Home Run Derby, featuring the top sluggers in both the IL and PCL, is slated for Monday, July 12.   The Derby will also include first-class live entertainment and the opportunity for fans to win outstanding prizes based on the results of the competition.

2010 All-Star ticket packages are only available to existing and new full-season ticket holders, 36-game holders and 18-game partial plan holders that renew or purchase season tickets and the All-Star Game package by October 9, 2009.  Individual tickets to the 2010 All-Star Game Fan Fest will go on sale to the general public at a later date.
